“The diverse group gathered from different parts of the world brings forward a very unique atmosphere, local yet universal, archaic yet contemporary.” – Maria Säkö, HS 2015

”Myllyteatterin esityksiä leimaa suomalaisessa mittakaavassa poikkeuksellisen syvällinen
keskustelevuus eurooppalaisen aatehistorian ja teatteritradition kanssa. Myös Myllyteatterin
esitysten konteksti, esityspaikka, rakentaa esityksiä yhtenä sen olennaisena osana.”
– Maria Säkö, HS 2009

[Myllyteatteri] — pyörittää esiin muistojen kätköistä hätkähdyttäviä näkyjä. — Nautin
suunnattomasti mielikuvituksen voimasta, jota Myllyteatteri vyöryttää esiin. [Ryhmä ohjaajineen] osaa synnyttää katsojassa kosketuspintaa, joka on pintaa syvemmällä, jossain alitajunnassa.”
– Martti Mäkelä, skenet.fi 2015

”Ryhmän esityksissä on aina olleet omaleimaiset esiintyjät, joiden ilmaisu eroaa valtavirrasta.”
– Maria Säkö, HS 2015
