Greige

Greige and the Little Bird is a musical play for children aged 3–7 in three languages (Finnish/Swedish/English). Running time: 60 minutes.

This visually and musically distinctive performance tells the story of a lonely monster child, Greige, setting off on a sea adventure with an ever-optimistic bird singing in colours. Soon, it becomes clear that the bird is not as trustworthy as Greige hoped. Stranded on a deserted islet, the two must overcome their differences in order to get back home.

Thematically, the work explores loneliness and the longing to be heard. It follows Greige’s journey of growth and the discovery of their own voice.
